UPDATE ON ROAD CONDITIONS IN DUCK - SR 12 (DUCK ROAD) NEAR TUCKAHOE IMPASSABLE
Duck, NC. -- Please be advised that the area on SR 12 (Duck Road) in the southern end of the Town of Duck near Tuckahoe Drive is totally impassable. All lanes, including Duck Trail, are covered with water. Emergency Management personnel will be on the scene. Do NOT attempt to come through the Town of Duck until further notice.
It can be expected that these conditions will persist until the rain slows significantly or stops. If at all possible, please stay off the roads today. If you must venture out, use extreme caution.
